My steps to Independence

Listed  here  are some  of  the  things  that enable  me  to  live  independently

Assisited technology
Thanks to this I am now able to cook my own meals. Whenever I wish as sensors are strategically placed to warn live call, should the kitchen get to hot or smoky?
All cooking appliances are controlled by timers and turn off automaticall
24 hour clock
strategically placed so that when I wake up I can see it in front of me I can tell if its day or night and start the day clearly and not in a confused state i.e., 3 am reads as 3, 3 PM reads as 15
Labels
to show where things are kept,
Ribbons
to stop things such as remote controls being moved
Use what you can remember
Although no immediate memory I can remember 40 years ago as a child my mother’s kitchen and where everything was kept, those places have now been duplicated in my kitchen and the labels are no longer necessary and have been removed
Singing
I recently found myself singing a song had only heard for the first time a few days earlier and had to ask how can I remember this when most days I don't remember what I had for lunch reason is that the right side of the brain has better pattern recognition then the left and the pattern is made by sentences rhyming so it’s not the singing that helps it’s the words of the song rhyming that forms the pattern, apparently this is how people with stutters can sing perfectly well without stuttering having found this information I chose 2 things I can’t find every day my keys and my money... I composed the following rhymes
My keys are where I wees......the bath room
My money is in the honey.......jar of honey
I have never lost my keys or my money since
Brain Exercises The brain is like your body if you exercise it and keep if fit then it functions much better
